Yahoo News Netflix star caught smuggling over £150k worth of drugs
Netflix's Too Hot to Handle star Olga Bednarska has pleaded guilty to being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug.
The reality TV personality, who appeared in season 3 of the dating show, confessed in court to attempting to bring 40kg of cannabis into the UK.
Bednarska was stopped at Manchester Airport in October after getting off a flight from Thailand, where authorities discovered £157,000 worth of the class B substance in two suitcases, according to Metro.

After being in custody for weeks following her arrest, it was decided that she would complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities. She was also served a 20-month suspended sentence that will last for the next two years (meaning, she will get 20 months in jail if she commits another crime by November 2026).
In court, Bednarska claimed someone had asked her to travel with what she claimed she thought were designer watches and clothes in exchange for £18,000 and the cost of her flights.
"You decided to place your trust in someone you hardly knew," the judge told her, amid reports the reality star didn't know the codes to open the suitcases when stopped at the airport. "You were acting under the direction of others, potentially for further profit."

The judge also said she'd "directly contributed" to "the harm that wholesale value drugs have on our communities when they are sold for profit".
Daily Mail reported that the court also heard the star had gone into £16,000 of debt due to living beyond her means.
All six seasons of Too Hot to Handle are available to stream now on Netflix.
