Netflix has a busy month ahead in August, with beloved shows returning, exciting new series being added, and hotly-anticipated blockbusters exploding onto the streamer.
There's something for everyone this month, it seems, with all genres and tastes being catered for with the big Netflix releases alone. Subscribers will have to say goodbye to The Umbrella Academy, but will also get the chance to say hello to fantasy series like KAOS and the UK's take on Love is Blind.
With so much to choose from it'll be hard for Netflix subscribers to be drawn away from the sofa. Before it all kicks off, here is what you need to know about what is coming out on Netflix in August.
The Umbrella Academy final season | 8 August
Get ready brellies, because The Umbrella Academy is returning for one last adventure. After season 3 saw the siblings lose their powers and enter a new timeline, things have changed quite a bit for Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castañeda), Alison (Emmy Raver- Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), Five (Aidan Gallagher), Viktor (Elliot Page), and Ben (Justin H. Min).

But not all is as it seems, a new villainous duo are ready to challenge the group and, perhaps unsurprisingly, there's another apocalypse to stop. With this being the final season, how will the loveable dysfunctional family make things right this time? Only time will tell.
Love is Blind: UK | 7 August
Reality show fans will have a new fix this August with a new version of Love is Blind, the show is landing in the UK for the first time and will give a group of British singles the chance to fall in love without ever having seen the others face.
Married couple Matt and Emma Willis will be on hand to host the show and support the contestants, and episodes will be released in three batches across the month.
Emily in Paris season 4 part 1 | 15 August
Emily's (Lily Collins) love life was left in dire straits at the end of season 3 after her potential romance with Gabriel was scuppered when he revealed his ex-fiancee was pregnant. Everyone's favourite overachiever isn't going to be down in love though, and instead is looking forward in season 4.
The new episodes, which are being split into two parts, will see Emily travel to from French Alps to the piazzas of Rome in search of a new adventure. She may well find love as she does so, with love interests like Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and newcomer Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) coming to the forefront.
Rebel Moon Part One and Two Director's Cut | 2 August
The Release the Snyder Cut movement has started a trend, and that's the fact that Zack Snyder will get the chance to release his "original vision" for his films. This means that Rebel Moon Part One and Two are getting director's cuts after the first versions were released in December 2023 and April 2024.
Though Snyder had creative control the whole time the director has created new versions of both films, which promise to be even more explosive.
KAOS | 29 August
Netflix is sharing their own take of the Greek myths with a modern retelling of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth against the backdrop of Zeus' fall from power. Zeus is being played by none other than Jeff Goldblum, who brings his usual flair to the part.
