  • Netflix has reportedly signed a deal with David Beckham and his family for a documentary series all about the careers and lives of the famous family.

  • The series will reportedly feature fly on the wall style footage, including "intimate camcorder footage" of the Beckham family.

In huge Netflix news, it has been reported that the streamer has signed a deal with David, Victoria and the rest of the Beckhams to make a documentary series all about their various careers and their family life together.

According to a source the series will focus mainly on David Beckham, (with a camera crew following him around as he manages various business ventures and charity commitments) but it will also feature additional footage of the family including previously unseen footage from the family's own archives.

According to the source David's family are "massive archivers" and have a lot of material for the series, including insights into the beginning of David and Victoria's relationship.

"David's family are all massive archivers," the source explained to The Sun. "They've been proudly documenting his career since he was a boy and have kept all the old local newspaper cuttings, school records and team photos throughout the years.'"

"Some old footage from special occasions will be shown and a crew will document David's life now, following him around the globe as he fulfils various business ventures," the source added.

While Netflix has yet to confirm the show, they also have not denied reports that Beckham's own production company, Studio 99, launched earlier this year (and so-called as a tribute to David and Victoria's marriage year: 1999), will co-produce the series, according to Deadline.
