Jennifer Lawrence & Leonardo DiCaprio Were Spotted in Boston Together

From Harper's BAZAAR

A plethora of movies were forced to shut down production on account of the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year. But if this new announcement is anything to go by, then celebrity-filled films will be hitting our screens again in the not-too-distant future.

Here's everything we know so far about Don't Look Up, and the hugely famous cast attached to the movie.

Don't Look Up is about the end of the world.

Per Deadline, "The film follows two low-level astronomers who embark on a media tour to warn mankind of an approaching asteroid that will destroy Earth."

Don't Look Up will be written and directed by Adam McKay, who's responsible for movies such as Vice, The Big Short, Anchorman, and Step Brothers. In a press release, McKay revealed, "The fact that Netflix sees this movie as a worldwide comedy sets the bar high for me and my team in an exciting and motivating way."

It stars literally everyone.

As reported by Deadline, Jennifer Lawrence was already attached to star in Don't Look Up, and she's now been joined by a slew of Hollywood stars. Lawrence will costar with Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Matthew Perry, Kid Cudi, Jonah Hill, Himesh Patel, Tomer Sisley, and Rob Morgan in the flick.

McKay previously said of Lawrence's casting in a press release, "I’m so thrilled to make this movie with Jen Lawrence. She’s what folks in the 17th century used to call 'a dynamite act.'"

As noted by Deadline, DiCaprio's casting is also pertinent, as it's the first time the Oscar-winner has starred in a movie produced by Netflix.
