Netflix's most-talked about new Christmas movies that you have to add to your watch-list

The festive period is nearly here, which means it's time to binge-watch all of our favourite Christmas films.

Each year, Netflix releases a new batch of original Christmas films, and this year is no different, with four new titles added to the streaming platform.

Here are four of the most talked-about new festive movies to watch to get you in the mood for the best time of the year. From a Lindsay Lohan film to Chad Michael Murray, there's something for everyone.

Our Little Secret

Lindsay Lohan is back in the rom-com genre with Our Little Secret as she plays Avery, who spends her first Christmas with her boyfriend's family.

However, she soon realises her ex-boyfriend is also part of the festivities, leading to plenty of confusion and trying to keep it under wraps.

This movie marks Lindsay's creative partnership with Netflix as she serves as an executive producer in this project.

Aside from Lindsay, the film also features Pretty Little Liars star Ian Harding and Broadway icon Kristin Chenoweth.

The Merry Gentlemen

Chad Michael Murray was the teen heartthrob back in the noughties, and now he's back with The Merry Gentleman, and this one might get you a bit hot under the collar.

The actor plays Luke, who is part of an all-male Christmas-themed show that is staged by Broadway dancer Ashley Davis (played by Britt Robertson)

As she navigates trying to save her parents' small-town performing venue with the stage show, sparks soon fly between the pair.

The film also stars Marla Sokoloff, Michael Gross, Beth Broderick, Maxwell Caulfield, and Maria Canals-Barrera in supporting roles.

Hot Frosty

Lindsay isn't the only Mean Girls star with a Christmas movie on Netflix this year, as her co-star Lacey Chabert stars in Hot Frosty.

Lacey plays Kathy, a widow who tries to alleviate her loneliness by bringing to life a magical snowman named Jack.

As Jack Snowman (played by Dustin Milligan) helps her remember how much fun life can be, the pair encounter problems when they realise they're from different worlds.

Selling Sunset stars Chrishell Stause, Craig Robinson, Joe Lo Truglio, Katy Mixon Greer, and Lauren Holly star in supporting roles.

Our Little Secret, The Merry Gentlemen and Hot Frosty are all available to stream on Netflix now.
