The Euros have now kicked off and anyone who is jetting off on holiday from Newcastle Airport over the next month and is worried they might miss some crucial action needn't fret, as screens have been installed in departures so fans can watch live coverage of the games, before they board.

Given the amount of football supporters who travel on holiday in the strips of their favourite clubs, showing matches at the airport seems like a no brainer and, right in time for the Euros kicking off on Friday, big screens now have pride of place in the new Tap & Brew bar, after you get through security and duty free.

Talking about the screens being installed, Dean Ward', Director of Commercial at Newcastle International Airport commented: "Euros fever has already gripped Newcastle Airport, with supporters flying out to Germany as excitement builds for the tournament. For fans travelling from our airport during the Euros, they can watch all of the matches on the large screens in our new Tap + Brew bar."
