Newcastle bar launches Wicked themed bottomless brunch ahead of movie release
Revellers in Newcastle are being invited to 'defy gravity' and being promised their lives will be changed 'for good' now a city centre bar will host its own Wicked themed bottomless brunch for Halloween.
Having been one of the biggest musicals on the planet for two decades now, Wicked is getting ready to catapult from the stage to the big screen, as Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande take on the lead roles of Elphaba and Glinda in the film, which is set to be a colossal box office success when it is released next month.
It's already been confirmed that a Wicked themed range is set to hit rails and shelves at Primark in time for one of the biggest movie launches of 2024 and now popular haunt slug & Lettuce is getting on the magic, by adding a Wicked bottomless brunch to its menu - book up HERE.

The No Place Like S&L brunch will take place at branches off Slug and Lettuce around the country, including the two in Newcastle, on Saturday, October 26, the weekend before Halloween, with a teaser for it reading: "Join us on October 26th for a magical bottomless brunch featuring hauntingly delicious new cocktails, devilishly good shots and a fang-tastic time with your squad"
Cocktails on the brunch menu, as well as the regular S&L menu until November 11, include Defying Gravitea, So Popular, Emerald City: Midori and Ruby Sipper: Smirnoff Raspberry Crush. The price is £35.95 per person with food options including a stack of American style pancakes, chicken and waffles, cheeseburger, eggs benedict and avocado and poached eggs.
