Newcastle Castle is set to host a Halloween experience in the world of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The Newcastle Castle Keep will house the work of award-winning director Jake Murray, who previously created Dickens by Candlelight.
This fresh adaptation of the 1818 novel, crafted by acclaimed writer and producer Craig Wilde, promises to be the perfect theatre experience for the spooky season. The show is set against the dramatic and atmospheric backdrop of Newcastle Castle’s centuries-old walls, with the production looking to transport audiences into the dark and gothic world of Shelley's masterpiece.
