Newcastle Christmas Village prices revealed for carousel and festive treats
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Newcastle as the city gears up for the big launch this weekend of a major festive attraction.
The Christmas Market will open at 10am on Saturday and visitors will find an expanded set-up this year as well as a host of new attractions. The main difference will be an entire Christmas Village taking over Old Eldon Square which will have plenty to interest children.
A festive tipi there will be home to Santa Stories sessions and tickets for these festive tales will include a hot chocolate for young ones and a certificate confirming they are on the 'nice list'. There also will be an Elf Workshop, explaining all about elf life, and a Rockin’ Reindeer stage hosting a five-week programme of festive films, character appearances and craft activities.

The new Christmas Village will be free to enter but families no doubt will be wondering about costs so here's a round-up of some prices to give an idea of what's in store.
