A North East marketing agency has been crowned Agency of the Year for a second time.

Founded in 2013, Newcastle-based Crystallised works primarily with organisations and businesses who are committed to having a positive impact on people, communities and the environment, and have become known for their progressive approach to worker’s rights and employee wellbeing.

The team has just taken home the award for Agency of the Year (under 20 employees) at the North East Marketing Awards 2022, and also secured an award for a marketing campaign for Northern Stage.

The awards are the latest in a year of successes for the agency, which became a Certified B Corporation in March – a global certification which verifies the businesses approach, impact and ethics – making them one of just five companies in the region to have achieved the accolade.

Dr Joanna Berry, Associate Professor, Durham University Business School and judge in the category of Small Agency of the Year at the North East Marketing Awards, said: "Crystallised did a superb job of bringing their pitch to life in the judging room.

"Their submission was really impressive. But the passion, commitment, enthusiasm and utter self-belief with which their business was presented really bowled us all over. "
