Newcastle Thai restaurant Chaophraya launches tapas lunch menu featuring diner favourites

Thai tapas are the latest addition to the menu at a popular Newcastle restaurant which has launched a lunch menu packed with diner favourites.

Classic pad Thai, salt and pepper crispy chicken, Thai tacos and spring rolls are just some of the options on Chaophraya's new tapas lunch menu. The restaurant's vibrant collection of small plates blends traditional flavours of Thailand with contemporary presentation and is crafted to offer the ideal sampling dining experience, meaning there is something to suit all palettes and appetites, whilst reflecting the true taste of Thailand.

The tapas menu also features a selection of vegan and vegetarian options, such as Ma Kuea Ka Prao, which consists of aubergine tempura topped with stir-fried diced peppers and onions in chilli basil sauce, and Tofu Pad Thai.

Chaophraya's new lunchtime offer is available in two options - three plates for £17 or four for £20, making it the ideal mid-week treat for lunch time diners. The offer comes as it celebrates 20 years of its iconic Thai restaurants, which now boast six sites around the country.
