Newcastle United finally learn Premier League festive fixtures as six games rescheduled for TV

Newcastle United have seen a host of their festive fixtures rescheduled as the Premier League belatedly unveiled TV changes for December and January. The provisional date range for the announcement was between September 16th to October 14th but top flight chiefs delivered the eagerly-awaited news 24 hours later than planned on Tuesday afternoon.

Firstly, Newcastle's December 4th clash with Liverpool, at St James' Park, will now kick off 15 minutes earlier than scheduled - at 7.30pm GMT - after being picked up by Amazon. Newcastle's Boxing Day clash with Aston Villa will still kick off at 3pm GMT but has also been chosen for broadcast by the same streaming platform.

Newcastle travel to Manchester United to end 2024, with the clash being moved from December 29th to December 30. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports, kicking off at 8pm GMT. The away trip to Tottenham Hotspur, days later on January 4th, has been shifted from 3pm GMT to 12.30pm GMT as part of TNT Sports' coverage.

Two more of Newcastle's January fixtures have been changed for TNT Sports' 2025 schedule too. The visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers has been moved to a 7.30pm GMT kick-off after being picked up by the channel as part of a bumper midweek schedule. Three days later Bournemouth arrive on Tyneside, with that tie moved to 12.30pm GMT from its initial 3pm GMT billing.

February's fixture changes are expected to be announced between November 14th and December 9th, while March's clashes will be unveiled between January 2nd and January 24th. April's confirmation should arrive between January 27th and February 28th.
