Newcastle United return to Premier League action after a two-week break when they face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Sunday. It's the first of a five-match run up to the next international break which will test Eddie Howe's squad.

The Magpies only have one home game in the coming weeks, and that's against champions Manchester City at the end of September. United are on the road at Wolves, Fulham and Everton in the Premier League, as well as their Carabao Cup third-round tie with AFC Wimbledon.

Howe has Fabian Schar available again plus Sandro Tonali took two big steps towards full match fitness after starring for Italy in their two games over the past week. The Newcastle head coach is also hoping to have Joe Willock back soon, although Callum Wilson is not yet ready to return.
