Dan Burn was left shaking in his boots as he followed in the footsteps of a host of Sunderland players by taking on chilling Halloween event Psycho Path this year.

NUFC first teamers are no stranger to the Burnopfield attraction, rated one of the best scare parks in the country, just ask Kieran Trippier who was petrified when he took it ion a few years ago. And this week, after SAFC stars like Jobe Bellingham and Chris Rigg tried out some of Psycho Path's new attractions for 2024 earlier this month, it was the turn of Blyth born defender Dan to try his luck against the horrors that awaited him.

One of the most buzzed about new additions for Psycho Path this Halloween is the Dolls House maze. Having started life as a stage show at last year's event, the Dolls House is now one of the creepiest pieces of the Psycho Path puzzle and Dan certainly looked rather hesitant as he made his way in.

In a video shared on Psycho Path's social media channels on Friday, one of the ghoulish characters he encountered could be heard asking "Are you excited?" before adding: "You shouldn't be...you're going to die!" As he made his way around the maze and with no option to turn back, the 32-year-old ended up being made to have his face painted to look like a toy, before then letting out a few expletives as he encountered a new sinister surprise around every corner and remarked: "I'm a tough guy and I'm s***ting my pants here!"

By the end of the maze, a very shaken p Dan looked immensely relieved to be out and paying tribute to his willingness to be scared, Psycho Path wrote: "As always, we salute sports professionals and TV personalities who brave the challenge of Psycho Path, and Dan was a brilliant sport putting himself out there for the fun and banter. Thank you, Dan. Good luck for the rest of the season"

After that terrifying experience at Psycho Path, Dan will join his Newcastle teammates on the pitch at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, as the Magpies hope to get something from their away match against Chelsea.
