Newcastle's EA FC 25 player ratings: Huge Isak upgrade, but bad news for Tonali

Alexander Isak has been handed a massive upgrade in EA FC 25 as EA Sports reveals the official Newcastle United player ratings.

EA FC 25 is the latest instalment in the EA Sports FC game series (previously known as FIFA), with the new game set to be released worldwide on Friday, September 27. To get fans excited about the game, EA Sports has revealed the entire player database ahead of the release, including the EA FC 25 Newcastle player ratings.

Despite finishing seventh and missing out on European football this season, the Magpies still have a decent-looking squad in EA FC 25, with Isak, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali all sharing the highest rating in the squad. But it's not all good news though, with the likes of Kieran Trippier, Nick Pope, and Callum Wilson seeing their ratings go down.

Isak has increased by four ratings in EA FC 25, making him 85-rated alongside Guimares and Tonali. The Brazilian increased by one overall, while Tonali has dropped by one, though this feels quite harsh considering he couldn't play. Anthony Gordon has picked up a well-deserved +7 upgrade to 82 overall, while youngster Lewis Miley has jumped up nine overall ratings to 72.

Alongside the upgrades, there has been downgrades. New goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos has dropped massively from 81 to 74, Tripper has dropped by two, while Pope, Wilson, and Sven Botman have all dropped by one rating each.
