Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon has revealed that she is keen to return to Britain's Got Talent for the second year running.
Revealing that she would jump at the chance to sit next to David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell again, Alesha told Look magazine: "All of us on the panel were tired and sad it had ended, but it was a genuinely good time. Would I do it again? They've asked me to and I really want to, so yes!"
The last series of Britain's Got Talent was certainly one of the more memorable, we had the funniest unfunny Latvian comedian, a man with a saucepan on his head doing dalek impressions and of course Pudsey the dog who went on to win the competition.
We're not sure what that says about Britain exactly, the most talented thing we have is a dog but you cant blame the little fella, not many dogs can claim to have been whisked to Hollywood by Simon Cowell and written their own book!
However, It wasn't just the acts that proved to be highly entertaining, the judging panel was definitely one of the best so far, with cheeky chap David Walliams providing plenty of laughs, and Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden adding an extra touch of glamour to proceedings, with any luck they'll all want to come back!
Speaking about why this years BGT was so successful, Alesha said: "The nation was really behind the show, you could see the chemistry on the panel and every act on that stage was worthy of being there. It felt really special. This year has been amazing for Britain because of the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee, and BGT felt rejuvenated”
She also hinted at a return to music, saying: "I'm back in the studio again now and am excited. I haven't released anything since the beginning of 2011. There'll be a single first, but I'm making an album, too”
So good news all round for Alesha fans!
