Following her run-ins with the law and speculation over her mental state, Amanda Bynes has claimed she is perfectly healthy and that the possibility of her family taking control of her finances and assets in a 'conservatorship' are completely false.
Over the weekend the child star's car was impounded after she continued to drive on a suspended licence. She is currently facing charges of two hit and run incidents and a DUI case with some claiming the 26 year-old is out of control.
But according to TMZ that isn't the case, with family members insisting she has no mental problems and a Britney Spears type conservatorship has never been discussed. The website goes on to claim that Amanda believes charges brought against her are bogus as are reports she has substance abuse issues.
"Amanda has no plans to go to rehab and reports that stated she was checking in Tuesday or Wednesday are false," a source told Radar Online.

But those close to the 'She's The Man' star are believed to be concerned for her “well being” after displaying some distressing behaviour over the last few weeks.
"She doesn't need rehab either, what she truly needs is a mental health evaluation, her parents and friends are extremely concerned about her well-being,” an insider revealed.
They added: "Amanda has no grasp about the seriousness of the criminal charges she is facing, from her DUI and hit-and-run charges. Amanda has been told multiple times that she can't drive but she has continued to do so anyway.
"The Burbank Police Department should be commended for impounding the vehicle she was driving because she truly is a danger to herself and others."
The star is expected in court later this month for a bail hearing related to the charges.
