Ashton Kutcher 'Asked Mila Kunis' Father For Permission Before Asking Actress To Marry Him'

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis may not have confirmed their engagement yet, but according to new reports, Kutcher did everything by the book and spoke to his other half's father around Christmas time to get his permission before he popped the question.

The lovebirds fuelled engagement rumours when Mila was snapped wearing a giant diamond on her wedding finger at the end of last month and despite the pair neither confirming or denying the rumours, sources have now said that Kutcher made arrangements to ask the actress to marry him a few months ago.

"He talked with Mila's dad around Christmas time," an insider told People, adding: "He asked for Mark's blessing to marry her. It was important to Ashton to be respectful and traditional. This is the real thing for him and he wants to do it all right."

Kunis was first pictured wearing a ring a few weeks ago and despite it still being early days, sources have said that the couple don't want to wait too long before tieing the knot.

"They don't want to wait," the source continued. "This relationship started on solid ground and everything is working out. They are in it for the long haul, truly."

"They are clearly very much in love, in tune with each other and so comfortable," another insider had previously said back in September, before the engagement rumours started.

"In some ways, it's like they're married already."
