Dan Neal has been installed as the narrow favourite to be evicted from the Big Brother house on Friday night as part of the nominations twist.

The former detective is considered slightly more likely than Sophie Lawrence and Sam Evans to be shown the door when the housemates are told that the immunity they think they have does not exist.

All housemates currently believe that it is Callum Knell, Charlie Travers, Dexter Koh, Gina Rio, Hazel O'Sullivan and Jack and Joe Glenny who face the chop, when actually they safe.

A spokesperson for Boylesports commented: "Sophie and Sam may have made it to the final as they have never received any nominations from the rest of the house, apart from when they nominated each other. Big Brother’s evil twist will shake the house when it is revealed.

"Dan is more controversial than Sophie or Sam but has got the public back on his side recently, [so] we could be in for a shock on eviction night."

Dan is currently the 2/5 favourite, with Sophie at 3/1 and Sam on 6/1.

Dan's chances of winning have tumbled as a result of his nomination, as he is now third favourite on 6/1 behind Sam on 9/2 and Gina on 6/5.

Hazel remains at the back by some distance with 80/1 chances, behind Callum (20/1), Charlie (14/1), Jack and Joe (12/1), Sophie (11/1) and Dexter (8/1).
