After a month of over the top theatrics and a penchant for “Chicken nug nugs”, tonight’s Big Brother live eviction finally saw 19 year old northern lass Becky Hannon being evicted after being pitted against Ashleigh, Luke A and Deana Uppal in the public vote.
It was somewhat of a surprise result, given that the cries of “get Luke out” were only too evident as Brian Dowling oversaw the night’s proceedings. Becky was never one to mince her words and this trait continued as Brian Dowling quizzed her about her eviction. She was quick to brand other housemates as “the most boring bunch of people”, whilst making no secret of her fractured relationship with Deana Uppal. She also spoke of her conflict with Lauren, saying that “she annoyed me, I found her a cheese face”.
Meanwhile, Conor and Luke S were given a tense ultimatum by Big Brother after a week of living as outsiders. The pair were given the opportunity to win up to £50,000 from the final cash prize, if they were willing to surrender their place in the house. Although the pair seemed reluctant at the idea, Conor’s true colours were shown as he finally plumped for the £50,000 cash prize. He told host Brian Dowling that the cash prize would change his life as he “didn’t have anything, I still live with my parents”. He also apologised for his previous rant against Deana, for which Big Brother had reprimanded him, claiming that he was “a complete and utter mouthpiece”.
It’s not all bad for Luke S though! He might not have the £50,000 but he received a pass for the final, meaning that he’s still in the running for the victor’s cash prize!
