Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Lose Out On Awards But It Was Still A 'Golden Night'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are the Hollywood 'golden couple', being accomplished on screen and finely dressed, but both left the 2012 Golden Globes last night empty-handed.

Before the award ceremony, Angelina and Brad walked the gauntlet that is the red carpet and seemed hopeful about what lay ahead - with Brad nominated for Best Actor and Best Film for his latest film 'Moneyball'.

Angelina was dressed in a stunning cream Atelier Versace gown which had a red fold over her chest, and she carried a miniature clutch with matching lipstick. She also helped carry Brad at one point, as he's still walking with a cane.

Brad rocked a classic tux by Tom Ford with satin lapels and a cute bow tie. Talking about the couple's nominations before the event, 48-year-old Brad told E!'s Ryan Seacrest: "It's a golden night for us."

Brad later lost out to his buddy George Clooney, who won Best Actor.

Meanwhile, Angelina's directorial debut 'In The Land Of Blood And Honey' was up for Best Foreign Language Film but didn't manage to pick up the award in the end.
