Bradley Cooper dined with the President without any underwear

Bradley Cooper might have looked immaculately dressed when he hit the White House in a smart-looking tuxedo last week, but below the surface he was somewhat under-dressed.

Calm yourselves ladies, but The Hangover star apparently had to ditch his underwear for the state dinner in Washington D.C. as he chatted with politicians and world leaders.

But it wasn't simply thrill-seeking that led Brad to stroll the President's corridors without his pants - the suit he chose for the event was so crotch-huggingly tight that the actor had no choice.

Speaking with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres about his classy dinner, the actor revealed, "I had to go commando - number one cause there was no room at all. I did. I had to... So it was really great. And you have to walk up the stairs and it was a nightmare. But I made it through."

Well done for avoiding an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction, Brad, but don't hold your breath for a second invite!
