Britain's Got Talent winners Pudsey won the nation's hearts with his dancing, but it seems this particular canine is keen to branch out and take up a new career as a pop star.
Simon Cowell is set to mastermind the pooch's attack on the charts, with Cowell taking his woofs and howls and setting them to music to create a novelty single.
The BGT boss is no stranger to hound harmonies, once dressing up as a dog on live TV after recording a novelty song consisting of dogs barking.
Cowell has already promised to help Pudsey and his owner Ashleigh on the road to Hollywood stardom, where the wonder-dog will hope to follow the paw-prints of The Artist's Uggie to become a superstar of the silver screen.
Ashleigh herself has her heart set on Pudsey working with Twilight's Robert Pattinson, and perhaps if he likes the dog's new single she may get her wish.
Cowell will apparently hire songwriters to compose a song that suits Pudsey's canine vocal range, allowing him to bark along to it to create a hit record.
According to The Daily Record a source said: “Simon reckons the sky is the limit for Pudsey. He has captured the hearts of the nation with his skills and his lovable nature.”
They added: “He would find it amusing togo to the Brits with Pudsey on his arm as a nominee for Best Single.”
