Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are celebrating a huge milestone in their marriage as they've now been husband and wife for 20 years.

The pair posted Instagram tributes to each other on Wednesday 18 November as they reflected on two decades together.

Zeta-Jones, 51, posted a montage of pictures featuring herself and her husband, first set to the sound of ‘Someday My Prince Will Come’ from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs before being cut short by a clip from Douglas' 1989 film War of the Roses.

The excerpt from the film about a warring couple saw Kathleen Turner's character tell Douglas’, 'I just want to smash your face in' before hitting him.

James Brown's I Feel Good then took over while more pictures of the happy couple over the years were shown.

The Welsh actor captioned her video: "20 years ago today Michael and I were married!! What an amazing magical night that was! And 7304.85 days and nights on, I love you now as I did then. ( except for the point 85 bit) 😂 Thank you for the love and laughter. ❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Elsewhere, 76-year-old Douglas recalled how he came to meet his wife in a voiceover on his Instagram account.

He captioned it: "Happy 20th Anniversary my darling! I love you always and forever @catherinezetajones ❤️."

Douglas told the story, which both he and his wife have publicly discussed before, of how she had caught his eye in The Mask of Zorro leading him to ask his assistant to set them up.

When they did meet, Douglas famously told Zeta-Jones he would be the father of her children and thought he had ruined his chances after she replied: "I've heard a lot about you and I guess it's all true. Goodnight."

However, they did end up getting back in touch and of course went on to marry. His prediction also came true, as they share two children, son Dylan, 20, and daughter Carys, 17.
