Liam Hemsworth doesn't appear to be the type of guy who easily gets embarrassed, but the Hunger Games: Catching Fire babe has confessed his school days were filled with red faced moments because his mum was his sex education teacher.
Those kind of lessons are embarrassing at the best of times, but imagine your own mother explaining about the birds and the bees. Well Liam doesn't have to, as he experienced it first hand. Speaking about the awkward lessons during an appearance on Live With Kelly And Michael on Wednesday the hunk said: "I was in her class – I would come in for the first part of it and leave half way through,"
"That must have been awkward," host Michael asked, "Ah, yeah, a little bit," Liam replied.

"You'd think it would be, wouldn't it? You have your mum talk about sexual stuff, it's not a class I'd like to be in."
"Did she ever call on you or anything?" Kelly pressed.
To which Liam said: "I used to put my head down most of the time,"
"We had this one time where we were given out cards of different sexually transmitted infections and you had to stand up and talk about the card and she picked me out of the whole room. It was like, 'Well, I have chlamydia … thanks for this, Mom. Good class.'"
Liam has been on a non-stop promotional schedule for the new Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire and while the private star has managed to avoid talking about ex fiancee Miley Cyrus, who he split with in May, he did claim to being happy within himself in a new interview.
"I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever been in my whole life," the 23-year-old told the Associated Press.

"Over the last five years I've learned so much. The first few years in LA were really tough and scary, but I had to figure things out for myself.
"I know I'm a good person and these days I feel like I'm more centered and grounded than I've ever been. What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that's all that matters."
Liam looks at his colleagues as good examples of how to handle fame. He used to take being in the spotlight way too seriously until he got to know J-Law more.
"For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment," he admitted. "But being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I'm much happier."
Liam now lets go of his worried by taking part in sports such as kick-boxing. He hopes keeping fit that way will stop him getting into altercations too.
"I don't fight people," he said. "It's a mental release to go and beat the (expletive) out of a bag for an hour. I read a lot of Zen books. And I grew up surfing, so that has always been my escape."
