One Direction are reportedly fearing for their safety following Liam Payne's split from Danielle Peazer, with tour managers hiring Barack Obama's security as protection from besotted fans of the heartthrob.
It was revealed over the weekend that the 20-year-old split from dancer Danielle two weeks ago after three years of dating, and while Liam may be reeling from the break-up, it appears it may also be having an affect on the rest of his bandmates with reports that their tour managers have hired President Barack Obama's extra security for the US leg of their 'Take Me Home Tour.'

“Liam becoming single has made things even more fraught. Some of the security staff have worked with Obama and in war zones,” an insider told The Sun newspaper.
A rep for the world-conquering boyband confirmed the split over the weekend, saying: "Liam and Danielle have split. It is all very amicable and the pair remain friends."
A source had told The Sun: "They have been trying for months to make it work but it just hasn’t. They had a big chat last month and decided there wasn’t any point in dragging it out.
"Liam’s on tour until November and Danielle’s very busy so they basically never see each other."
One Direction will be kicking off the North American leg of the tour on June 13 in Florida.
