Liam Payne is not getting married to girlfriend Danielle Peazer despite sending One Direction fans into a frenzy with a picture suggesting that he'd popped the question.

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' star, posted a picture on his Instagram showing the couple holding hands along with the soppy caption: "i'm her's and she's mine forever. {big news coming up} :)."

The 18-year-old's hint led many to believe that they were getting hitched. But a representative for Liam has said that the story is "completely untrue", according to E! News.

Liam and Danielle did have some big news - and it was that they were moving in together! As we know, Liam was house-hunting for a home for the couple at the weekend in London's Primrose Hill.

The 18-year-old begged his fans not to lash out at the dancer because they were a couple.

Along with a big bouquet of roses (lucky girl), Liam wrote: "Danielle loves roses, so she was so happy when i got them for her! I am young, i know.

"But i love this woman, she is the one i want to be in the future. Danielle is the one for me, i am sure. And please do not hate, if you love me. You all were excited about the 'big news' right? Well, me and Danielle are moving in together and we are going to take the next step in our relationship."

He continued: "I try to keep my private life private from publicity but it's hard sometimes. I read all your comments on my last picture and i'll just say that last night was the best night of my life, i know what really matters: love! Thank you for showing so much love and respect. I love you all, have a nice day! Oh and follow Danielle."

Someone pass us the sick bucket... we're just a little jealous....
