One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne and his girlfriend Danielle Peazer have reportedly split after two years together.

The young couple, who faced rumours of marriage earlier this year, have now ended their relationship because of their careers.

According to an insider, both of them were finding the time apart tough despite having moved in with each other just a few months ago.

The Sun has suggested that backing dancer Danielle has now moved out of their flat.

“It was getting impossible to keep it going. They were apart so much and everything that was being said to Danielle on Twitter was getting to her," the insider said.

“They both still care for each other and will remain friends, but it all just got too much.”

Twitter has also allegedly played a role in the couple's split, with Danielle getting harassed by online trolls as well as unwanted attention in the street.

Only last week Liam himself explained how the attention the dancer had been receiving was "scary".

“Danielle’s got over a million followers on Twitter, it’s just crazy," he said. “She’s been getting stopped in the street. She got chased by some girl in the park the other day, which is scary."

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' star continued: “They seem to have settled to the idea now, but every so often she gets death threats and stuff and she doesn’t need that.

“Danielle’s not the most confident person in the world and really takes note of what people say.”
