Ed Sheeran has been forced to deny that his parents have been banned from attending the Grammy Awards with him next weekend, claiming he does have enough tickets to bring with them.
The 'Give Me Love' singer is nominated in the Song of the Year category for his debut single 'The A Team' while he will also be performing a duet with Elton John. However, reports emerged that Ed would be making his Grammys debut on his lonesome as there weren't enough tickets for his parents to attend, something which he denies is true.

Taking to his Twitter to blast the claims, Ed wrote: “Despite what press is saying, I have for extra tickets for Grammys for my parents, that was an old news story.”
Well that's sorted then! Meanwhile, Ed recently confirmed he will be performing a duet with 'Candle In The Wind' hitmaker Elton, and revealed it was all Elton's idea.
“He put it together. He rung me up one day and said, 'How would you feel about performing with me at the Grammys?'” Ed told MTV News.
“He's been in touch for the past kind of three years, but has mostly become very prominent when we started to break the States, 'cos he knows the States like the back of the hand.”
Well at least his parents get to share his special moment!
