Television presenter Emma Willis is "jealous" that her three children go to husband Matt Willis over her for “fun”.

The 43-year-old has candidly spoken about the different bonds she and her 36-year-old spouse share with their offspring, noting that she provides security for them.

Speaking to Dave Berry on his Dadpod podcast, she said: "Oh, he's like the fourth child. And that for me, is perfect, because I think he has such a fantastic bond and relationship with them because he can get down on their level - do you know what I mean? And when they want fun they go to him."

The Circle host added: "It makes me feel sensationally boring because I'm like, 'Oh I'm that one, am I? .... [I'm the one] that tells them off and makes sure the washing is done'. I am the quintessential mum and, I think, security.

"That's what I've always had from my dad and Matt is just always there and always fun and I'm quite jealous of that."

The pair share three children, daughters Isabelle, 10, and three-year-old Trixie as well as son Ace, 7.

Willis wed the Busted member in 2008 following three years of dating.

They celebrated ten years of marriage last year with a star-studded vow renewal where Willis donned her original dress.

Earlier this year, Matt opened up on his battles with alcohol and drug abuse, detailing that he first began to experiment aged seven by "getting high" off an asthma inhaler.
