Eva Longoria 'Proud' Of Victoria Beckham's Olympic Closing Ceremony Performance

Eva Longoria has gushed about how “proud” she is of Victoria Beckham's performance at the London Olympic closing ceremony. The fashion designer joined her fellow Spice Girls for the star-studded party last night in front of 26 million viewers in the UK and even more worldwide, where she sang a medley of their hits on top of a black London taxi.

The Desperate Housewives star, who is godmother to Victoria's daughter Harper Seven took to Twitter as she expressed her delight at seeing the 38 year-old pick up the microphone once more.

She tweeted: "So proud of my girl @victoriabeckham on the Closing Ceremonies for the Olympics! What an hour and she looked amazing! (sic)"

Rumours that the girl group were reforming for the closing ceremony have been rife for months and were confirmed when they were spotted rehearsing earlier this week.

They were part of a spell binding show that brought the 2012 Games to a close with One Direction, Ed Sheeran, The Who, Jessie J and Tinie Tempah joining in the fun at the Stratford stadium.

Fans around the world excitedly tweeted about their highly anticipated performance with many naming it the highlight of the evening. Even London Mayor Boris Johnson was spotted dancing along to the tunes.
