Eva Longoria Reunites With Ex Eduardo Cruz For Miami Lunch Date

They confirmed their split last month but it sounds like Eva Longoria just can't quit her ex Eduardo Cruz. The two were spotted reuniting on a cosy lunch date recently.

According to People.com Eva and Ed, who's Penelope Cruz's little brother, were seen meeting up for lunch at a Japanese restaurant in Miami. Sadly though it doesn't sounds like it was a candletlit romantic rendezvous, with an eyewitness saying the pair kept the date "brief".

An onlooker tells People: "They had little to no interaction at all with each other. The lunch was far from romantic."

Boo! So just why were they former flames meeting up? Were they having complex negotiations over who gets to keep the 'Desperates Housewives' box set? It could be that the cute couple just can't seem to move on, after all they only split a couple of months ago, just weeks after they enjoyed a romantic holiday in Spain. According to People the couple first ended things in in March before reuniting later on in the spring and then, supposedly, splitting for good.

Her lunch date might not have been hearts and roses but Eva's work is spicing up, as she keeps busy producing her new reality show 'Ready for Love'.

The programme sees a team of professionals pair people with their perfect partners. Eva reveals she's loving playing cupid, admitting in a recent interview: 'I'm a pretty good matchmaker, I love pairing people up, even if it's not romantic. I am like, "You guys would be great friends," or "You guys would be great business partners," or "You guys should get to know each other." I try to connect a lot of people."
