The Wanted's Nathan Sykes has joked that the band will "kill" any new boybands who try to steal their fans.
The cheeky chap was speaking to Entertainmentwise with bandmate Max George ahead of their performance at the Capital FM Summertime Ball.
Asked if there are too many boybands around at the moment, the singer said the three leaders - themselves, One Direction and JLS - are evenly spread across all subgenres of pop.
But, he jested, "if anyone tries to steal our fans... we will have to kill them!"
The lads also described the difference between US and UK audiences, with Max revealing which side of the Atlantic is more prone to dancing to any song - even if it's terrible - and Nathan joking that Americans are more likely to faint.

Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Usher, Kelly Clarkson and Example were also among the acts who stormed Wembley Stadium today.
