Fifth Harmony, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton Congratulate Kelly Clarkson On Christmas TV Special

Kelly Clarkson may have found it “awkward” to watch herself on TV last night but the singer clearly had nothing to worry about as she has been flooded with nothing but praise from her peers with the likes of Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei congratulating her.

The 'Stronger' hitmaker hosted a Cautionary Christmas Music Tale on NBC last night which saw her perform jingles from her brand new festive record, 'Wrapped In Red' and was joined by a bevy of stars including country legend Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton.

Kelly, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock, admitted that she was a little nervous to watch herself back, telling her Twitter followers: “It is so awkward watching yourself on TV but thank you so much to Done & Dusted, and the band, and all the actors!! Y'all are awesome!”

Kelly needn't have worried as the special couldn't have been more well received with Miranda Lambert, who also features in the programme, tweeted the rather sweet message: “Well I'm officially obsessed with @kelly_clarkson! (Again) This Christmas special is so great! And so is "Wrapped In Red". Love it all!” to which Kelly responded: “@mirandalambert thanks girl!! I HATE watching myself ....wow that is not fun haha! Your husband was hilarious!!”

Iconic country star Reba McEntire wrote: “Great job, @kelly_clarkson on your 1st Christmas Special!!!! Well done!!” while Fifth Harmony babe Normani Kordei chimed in: “I love Kelly Clarkson ❤ ! Her Christmas special is on YAAAY ? lookin beautiful girly.”

American Country Awards winner Blake Shelton couldn't have been more complimentary with his critique, tweeting: “I can't get over @kelly_clarkson singing on this special.... Perfection,” prompting Kelly to reply: “You're hilarious!! Thank you for being on the show! I can't wait for the end when you yell at me haha!! #ClarksonXMAS.”

Actress Emma Roberts added: “Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Take is so good!!” Revealing her own favourite part of the show, Kelly told fans: “Loved singing a different version of My Favorite Things!! Hope y'all liked it! If you didn't there's no need to tell me ha!”
