Helen Flanagan: 'I'm Not High Maintenance!'

Helen Flanagan has insisted she's not high maintenance, saying that if she were to talk about her personal problems, people would call her a 'spoilt cow'. If this is her not moaning, we never want to catch her on a bad day!

She wowed I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here viewers with her ability to moan about just about anything, but ex Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan is desperate to show the nation she's not a 'spoilt cow'. Erm...

Speaking on Daybreak, the model was asked if she thinks herself to be high maintenance. She fired back: “No, my boyfriend wouldn't agree with that.”

Back in the jungle, Helen admitted to having her hair blow-dried every single day. As you do. Questioned about her luxurious lifestyle, she snapped made her spoilt:

“It sounded actually really spoilt and brattish when I said that, but I don't mean it like that at all, it's just kind of the way I am really.”

Asked if her time in Australia made her more self-sufficient, Helen said: "Definitely, I think it has... not that there's anything wrong with having a blow-dry."

Helen thinks the future looks bright for her: "Well fingers crossed with one lingerie company, hopefully, which I would absolutely love. I've got my FHM cover coming out in January. But I really enjoy modelling, I absolutely love modelling. I think it is like acting - you become like a character."

The former actress explained it was a tough job to hide her true feelings in the jungle, knowing she would get a bad reaction from viewers:

“Sometimes it's really hard when you say stuff like that because people will think, 'What are you talking about you spoilt cow? If you've got all this, how can you?' But I think sometimes you can create your own kind of hell in your head. But i was always nervous about saying something because I kind of think everyone would just think you're absolutely spoilt and no one would like you for that.”

So why is she this way?

"I think when I left Coronation Street I suffered really badly with lots of anxiety and things like that. When I left I didn't know really what I wanted to do. I was thinking of maybe going to university. And then when I'm A Celebrity came up and I thought, 'Oh, why not? It sounds really, really good fun.'"

We're not sure we saw her having much fun in there...
