She was crowned Queen of the jungle last night but I'm A Celebrity champion Charlie Brooks has revealed her guilt after her daughter Kiki was used in a 'cruel' trial during the series.
Earlier in the week, Eastenders actress Charlie was devastated when she found out her little girl was literally metres away from her after the pair took part in a trial to win treats.
In the heart-wrenching task 'Door to Door' the campmates were faced with a series of doors, behind which was either a treat or a Game Over sign. In amongst the pizza and laundered clothes was Charlie's daughter Kiki but her mum and campmate Eric Bristow failed to pick the correct door.
The trial was deemed cruel by some commentators after Kiki was reportedly devastated at missing out on a chance to see her mum after over two weeks apart. Now, Charlie has apparently revealed her guilt:
"I was cut up pretty bad about it. I really did feel guilty," the actress was reported as saying in the Daily Star Sunday.
Fellow campmate David Haye has revealed that he expected her to quit the show after the incident, saying: "it spiraled out of control"
"She was really upset about it. She wanted to be with her daughter. I thought she might leave," David told the Mail Online.
Charlie and Kiki enjoyed an emotional reunion on last night's finale of the ITV show, with the little girl running into her mum's arms after hosts Ant and Dec surprised the actress during her interview with runner-up Ashley Roberts.
