I'm A Celebrity Finale Takes Minor Ratings Dip As Charlie Brooks Wins Jungle Crown

Charlie Brooks' victory on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was a ratings hit for ITV1 last night, pulling in 9.45 million viewers to become the channel's most watched show of the evening.

The number is, however, a slight 300,000 down on the 2011 finale, in which Dougie Poynter beat Mark Wright to the crown. It's also a huge 3 million down on the number who saw Stacey Solomon emerging victorious in 2010.

The most-watched show of the night was Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One, which took 9.89 million viewers and a 41.% audience share.

The X Factor on ITV1 drifted slightly to 7.55 million, adding 246,000 on ITV1+1.

Overall, ITV1 won the night with an average of 26.9% of the audience, ahead of BBC One's 23.6%. BBC Two took third with 5%, and Channel 5 got 4.2%.

Channel 4 bought up the rear with 3.2%.
