Iron Maiden And Rammstein Announced As Headliners For Download Festival


Rammstein will join Iron Maiden as headliners for next summer's Download Festival, it has been announced today (September 21).

The German metal veterans will headline the festival on June 16 alongside Iron Maiden and a yet to be announced headline act.

Speaking about the booking, Download Festival organiser Andy Copping said: "We’re very excited to welcome Rammstein to Donington for the very first time. They are an epic live act and a perfect Sunday headliner to cap off what is shaping up to be yet another fantastic Download festival."

Download Festival will take place from June 14-16 2013 at Donington Park.

This year's Downlad festival saw Metallica, Black Sabbath and The Prodigy headline with performances from the likes of Chase & Status, You Me At Six, Biffy Clyro, Soundgarden and Rise Against.
