John Legend's fiancee Chrissy Teigen has received death threats from loyal Chris Brown fans who were furious with her comments about his Billboard Music Awards performance.
The model, along with other celebrities such as Pink, blasted Chris on Twitter for lip-synching during his performance of 'Turn Up The Music' on Sunday night, writing: "Why sing when you can dance?"
However, her words didn't go down too well with Breezy's fans, who proceeded to leave Chrissy threatening messages on the social networking site.
"All you do is talk s**t, you need to be raped and murdered," one post read from an account that has now been deleted.
"Your just mad because you were another Slut with a dress at the award show that nobody knows," another read.
Chrissy wasn't taking the comments lightly, and took to her own Twitter account to blast the spiteful youngsters.
"Reallllly makes me sad that 99% of the most disturbing comments come from young girls. I'll end it there but it make (sic) me sad," she wrote.
"Accounts deleted due to ohhhhh, i dunno. telling me i'm getting a bullet to my brain, asking for me to be raped and murdered...normal stuff."
John Legend defended his girlfriend, writing on his account: "Personally, I don't think @chrissyteigen's existence is pointless. Nor anyone else who dares criticize a performance."
"Every artist has to be ok with the fact that some people won't like their work. All critics aren't "haters"."
"And don't ever tell me to put my "bitch on a leash". She's a grown woman with her own mind and her own opinions and this is not 1950."
You tell 'em John!
