Justin Bieber Honors The Late 'Mrs. Bieber' With Love

Justin Bieber has nothing but love for the late "Mrs. Bieber."

The 6-year-old Avalanna Routh lost her battle with a rare form of cancer on Wednesday Sept. 26, which didn’t take much time for Bieber to share his condolences for his special fan.

"Just got the worst news ever. One of the greatest spirits I have ever known is gone," Bieber tweeted. "Please pray for her family and for her. RIP Avalanna. I love you."

Following his heart-felt note, “RIP Avalanna” became a trend on Twitter.

The As Long As You Love Me Singer than tweeted a link to his followers to a website with more information about Routh’s rare form of cancer, which is called AT/RT (atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor).

Mrs. Bieber’s family released a statement of her passing, confirming Routh’s death: “Our darling Avalanna went to Heaven this morning. Oh Avalanna, the brightest star - you took our hearts with you, our greatest Love."

Bieber and Routh established a friendship in early 2012 after the music star learned of her family's Facebook campaign to get her to meet him.

On Valentine’s Day, Bieber and Mrs. Bieber made national headlines when he flew her out to New York to visit him and NBC’s Today show camera to document their encounter.

"Hangin' out with a special little girl. #MrsBieber," Bieber tweeted about the meeting. "That was one of the best things i have ever done. She was AWESOME! Feeling really inspired now! #MrsBieber."

The duo spent more time together in June when Bieber took her around NYC as he made press rounds for his Believe album release.

"Basically, we talk on iChat all the time, and I see her on FaceTime," Bieber said, before they shared that she called his mother her mother-in-law.

Jessica Biel also spoke about Routh during the Stand Up to Cancer telethon earlier this month, which was executive produced by Gwyneth Paltrow.
