Kanye West hit with copyright lawsuit

It was the video for Kanye West's Bound 2 that got everyone talking, but it's the music that might have landed him in trouble.

The Stronger rapper has been slapped with a copyright lawsuit by former child star Ricky Spicer who claims Ye' used his vocals without permission.

Ricky, who sang with The Ponderosa Twins Plus One when he was 12, sued the self-proclaimed genius in Manhattan Supreme Court in New York City on Monday, claiming Kanye's Bound 2 is a rip-off of his track Bound.

Spicer claims in the suit that his vocals are used exactly as he recorded them more than 40 years ago, and he now wants Kanye to either compensate him or stop using his music.

The lawsuit names Kanye's label Roc-A-Fella Records along with three other labels.

It seems the video featuring Kimye getting intimate on a motorbike might not be the most awkward thing about Bound 2...
