Kanye West's impromptu baby announcement is said to have gone down like a lead balloon with Kardashian's mum, Kris Jenner, and now it's being speculated that the 'Mercy' rapper's unplanned decision was a bid to prove to the grandmother-to-be that his unborn child will not play a part in the Kardashian's money-making empire.

Sources were quick to point out that while Kris loves they way Kanye self-promotes himself, she was disappointed at his unexpected baby announcement earlier this week and was hoping to do it in a more lucrative way.

And according to close family insiders, tensions could brew between the pair in future over how publicity is handled regarding the tot's arrival.

"Kris Jenner is the one that negotiates all the deals," one family insider told The Huffington Post.

"She is a business genius and the one that has made the family rich and famous. She doesn't take lightly when any of the girls go rogue on her, and certainly isn’t going to appreciate it if Kanye now thinks he is calling the shots," the source continued.

Well, Kanye apparently has his own idea on how his baby's first photos should be distributed, and to Kris' horror, it may not involve a single penny

"Like Jay-Z and Beyoncé did with their little Blue Ivy [they put the pics on Tumblr], Kanye will want to post the pictures his way, probably publicly through Twitter — which will no doubt put him at odds with matriarch Kris Jenner, who’ll want to make a deal with the highest bidder," a source informed The Metro.
