Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge might appear to be breezing through her pregnancy but the seven month pregnant royal admitted yesterday she was glad the weather wasn't too hot as she was finding it hard to keep cool.
The royal, who is due to give birth to her first child in July, attended the Queen's annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace yesterday, where she looked cool in a lemon yellow Emma Wickstead coat and nude hat.
Speaking to guests, who mingled in the Queen's garden the Duchess reportedly admitted the wet May weather was perfect for her pregnant state.
Guest Juliet Rogers told The Express: “She said the one benefit of the weather was that it was keeping her temperature down. She said she was thankfully rather cool.”

Pregnant women are advised to keep as cool as possible and with her growing baby bump it can't be easy for Kate to keep from over heating at such an event. Luckily the British weather has been pretty dire, so it was over cast and cloudy for the event attended by other high profile members of the royal family and 8000 invited VIPs.
Kate also shared a touching moment with a Marie Curie nurse, when speaking to her about he late grandfather.
Susan Bradley, revealed following their meeting: “She recognised my uniform and told me she has great admiration for the work the charity does, because our staff cared for her grandfather when he was terminally ill.”
It's just under two months until Kate's mid-July due date and despite constant speculation the royal couple have managed to keep the gender of their unborn child underwraps.
Names for the child have also been a constant source of rumour, with Diana and Elizabth favourites for a daughter.
