Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge Gushes Over Prince George: 'We're Very Lucky'


Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William's three month old son Prince George of Cambridge was christened on Wednesday at the Chapel Royal, St James' Palace and Kate has now spoken out about how her little one behaved on the day, saying that she is "very lucky" to have such a well behaved little boy.

The royal couple's closest family members and George's chosen seven godparents with their spouses with the only invited guests to the intimate ceremony earlier this week. It's the first time little George has been seen in public since the day after he was born on July 23rd when Kate and William left the Lindo Wing, St Mary's hospital.

Kate has now spoken out about how well behaved George was throughout the whole thing, saying that despite being surrounded by different people, the little Prince loved the attention.

Speaking at a Kensington Palace State Apartments reception and dinner on Friday night, she told a guest, according to the Mail Online: "He’s not always like that but I think he enjoys all the different people and I think there was lots of action going on. He gets slightly distracted.

"He was such a good boy – actually we’re very lucky."

When Prince William carried the tot into the chapel, the royal quipped: "Perfect timing. He's just gone quiet," with the little one staying calm throughout the ceremony from then on.

Kate wasn't the only one gushing over baby George, with insiders also commenting on hoe well behaved he was.

"Prince George has been good as gold today," a source told Us Weekly, claiming during the service he "blew bubbles while William bounced him."

Following the service guests attended a reception held at Clarence House by proud grandfather Prince Chares, Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cambridge.

The service went very well according to the Palace who reportedly told the magazine: "It has been a tremendously joyful occasion for everyone involved."
