So last night's England match left many a man glued to his telly with a 6 pack of beers and Prince William was no different - as his wife Kate Middleton left her hubby at home watching the match, as she headed out on a 'secret trip' to the theatre instead.
While Will sat in front of the TV at Kensington Palace (standard!) to watch the European Cup match, Kate was busy taking 150 children from one of her charities, The Art Room, to see the stage production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe - ohhh, to be a royal!
The performance took place in Kensington Gardens - extremely close to where she and William live. Kate, who was wearing a teal dress from high street store Zara, strolled through the park to the tent where the event was taking place.
During the interval the Duchess chatted animatedly with the children about what they had seen in the first half.
"Did you see all the animals on stilts and wasn't Lucy cute?" she asked.
She then added: "Wasn't it amazing? I just loved the way it is held in a tent. Really clever."
"Some of the characters are really quite frightening. I hope you don't get too scared."
She then turned to another group she asked: "What I really want to know is have any of you tried turkish delight?" referring to the famous luring of Edmund Pevensie by The White Witch into betraying his siblings and the fawn Mr Tumnus.
Hang on a minute...turkish delight? Zara? She really is just like you & I...
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie's infatuation for the Duchess could lead to the pair finally coming face-to-face, if Kate accepts the Hollywood A-Lister's invite to an Olympics party.
Angelina has made no secret of the fact that she is a huge fan of Prince William's gorgeous bride, but the pair could become BFFs if the RSVP goes the way we hope it will!
