Kim Kardashian Insists She 'Wasn't Exactly In Hiding' Following Birth Of Baby North

Kim Kardashian stepped out in Los Angeles today as she filmed for the new series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and when questioned by the paps if she was happy to be "out of hiding" the star insisted she wasn't "exactly" hiding.

The reality TV babe has made only a handful of appearances since the birth of her first child North West in June. There have been several reports that boyfriend Kanye West has forced her to stay out of the spotlight following the arrival, with Kim now only recently stepping out - three months after the arrival of her daughter.

When leaving a restaurant with sister Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott Disick in Los Angeles yesterday Kim, who showed off her svelte post-pregnancy figure in a dark green jumpsuit, appeared to be enjoying being back infront of the camera though was insistent she hadn't been avoiding them, telling the paps that she "wasn't exactly" in hiding, when asked if she was "happy" to be back in the spotlight.

While Kim appeared super confident in the flattering outfit, she held a pad of paper over her stomach when getting into her waiting vehicle and also asked an assistant to "cover her" while getting into the SUV.

Despite the claims insiders recently alleged that Kim was growing bored at home all day and was keen to get back to her life infront of the cameras.

“Kim loves being a mum and spending all of her time with the baby, but she’s really bored! She misses going out all the time to shop or eat and have people in public fawn all over her,” a source told Radar Online.

“Kim really likes the attention she gets from people when she goes out in public or even online, but since Kanye wants her to be more selective about what she’s doing it isn’t as interactive for her and she misses her old life,” the source claimed.

“She wouldn’t trade the baby for anything, of course, but she is saying she is bored right now.”

Kim explained to fans, in the weeks after North's arrival that she was just enjoying being a mum and hadn't forgotten about her supporters.

"These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life," she wrote on her Celebuzz blog in July.

"I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family." "I've been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes," she said.

"It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment."
