She’s a world famous superstar because of her voluptuous curves – and that well forgotten sex tape – and despite making a few fashion faux pas’ here and there, Kim Kardashian hit the nail on the head last night in a dress that finally suited her shape.

The 32-year-old reality TV star makes us squirm in despair from time to time in her shapeless ‘androgynous’ Kanye West recommended outfits which do nothing for her hourglass shape, Kim has finally ignored her rapper beau at the Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina.

Kim looked stunning in her scarlet skintight floor-length gown by French designer Roland Mouret which pushed up her ample cleavage and made us swoon over her perfect curves.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star jetted in late yesterday afternoon to attend the HQ Battery 10TH Marine Birthday Ball with her date for the night Sgt Gardiner, who wasn’t quite sure where to look.

Sgt Gardiner couldn’t help but let his eyes wander all over Kim Kardashian’s infamous ‘kurves’ as he barely looked her in the eye, Kim oblivious to this subtle exploitation.

But Kim was glad to be there as she rearranged her tight schedule after being asked to attend the bash as a special guest, and we have to admit, this fishtail figure-hugging Mouret creation is one of the star’s best looks to date.

Kim upped the Hollywood glamour stakes by styling her hair into a wavy ‘do set around one shoulder as she donned a dramatic smoky eye and nude lips to complete the look, adding towering heels and a black clutch bag to her gown with minimal accessories.

And while the marines were thankful for Kim being able to attend, Kim seemed just as excited to be there herself, tweeting about it straight after the bash.

She said: ''Just left the Marine Corps Ball. Thanks to all of the marines I had the opportunity to meet tonight! Thank you for all that you do!'' the celeb tweeted.

She even tweeted Sgt Gardiner after the event, writing: ''@I_AM_DOT_HOLLA thanks so much for the invite tonight!!!''
