Leona Lewis has delayed the release of her GlassHeart album until 2012 as she is still recording songs.
The singer recently released the first single from the record 'Collide' which peaked at number three, as was expected to subsequently drop her third studio album in November. Now, Leona has informed her fans that they will have to wait until 2012 to hear the finished LP.
"Just wanted to update everyone on the album! I'm feeling so inspired right now and have decided to continue recording," she wrote on her Twitter page.
She added: "I have a collection of songs that I'm so in love with and I no there's more to be born so it means the album will come early next year."
Leona recently revealed that her record label is "scared" about GlassHeart because it features a range of different sounds, and they are worried that her fans may not warm to it.
