'Les Miserables' star Eddie Redmayne may be the idealistic lover in his new movie, but he's eyeing the role of a sado-masochastic bad boy for a future role as he's said he wouldn't mind playing Christian in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
Eddie told Marie Claire: "I know there’s a huge amount of hype around it [the movie] so I definitely never say never."
The star plays Marius Pontmercy in 'Les Miserables', already garlanded with Golden Globe nominations (although sadly none for Eddie individually), who is a true romantic rebel in the musical movie.
Eddie needs to catch-up on his bed time reading as he's yet to discover the joys of Anastasia Steele in the red room of pain, saying: "I’ve heard so much about this book I see people reading it on the tube and I’m always really impressed that they’re reading it on the tube because it’s kind of kinky."
Would Eddie make a good Christian? He's been left off most lists of prospective Christians so far, but keeness is a virtue when looking for this job.
