Loyd Grossman to make TV comeback

Former Masterchef host Loyd Grossman is to make a TV comeback as a presenter on Simon Cowell's new cooking show.

The culinary critic will appear alongside Prince Charles' stepson Tom Parker Bowles on new programme Food Glorious Food, in which they will travel across the country to find Britain's best-loved recipe.

A source tells The Sun, "It is a great coup signing up Loyd to the show as he was always a favourite on the original version of MasterChef. Tom is also one to watch - and will bring a touch of class to proceedings."

Filming for the ITV show will begin in Devon next month.

Grossman is best known for hosting Through the Keyhole, in which he challenged contestants to guess the celebrity owner of featured homes. He left the show in 2003 after 10 years.
